SARDINIA - BARUMINI ARCHAEOLOGICAL COMPLEX
| Sardinia | 4-8 Hours |
HALF DAY or FULL DAY
Just a few miles south of the basaltic Giara Plateau, in the central-southern part of Sardinia and a symbol of a glorious past, lies an impressive Nuraghe in excellent condition, the island's only UNESCO World Heritage Site. The Nuragic civilisation lasted from the eighteenth century B.C. until, possibly, the sixth century A.D., leaving us an array of ruins, testimony to past splendours and intense agropastoral life.
